04 Radio in a 03
04 Radio in a 03
Hello Every One,
I really want to get rid of the tape deck in my 03 coupe because its starting to make my car look older : (
I was wondering if I can swap out my 03 OEM head unit with a 04, 05, 06, 07 head unit without having to do much more then removing the radio and unplugging the harness.
Thanks in advance

Not all OEM 03 headunits are the same (mid-year change), so even another 03 is not guaranteed to work if you only get the headunit.
However, if you get the trim and the headunit from an '03 or an '04, it will fit and work just fine.
05+ you're looking at a full dash swap to get it to work.
For what some people are asking for OEM units (and OEM headunit's disturbingly high failure rate) you're much better off going with an aftermarket headunit, especially if you want the car to look younger.

Wrathernaut: what do you mean by the trim
Thanks everyone
