If your 3rd brake light is on your rear deck, I have a question for you
Technically this should go in the interior section, but since folks here are more likely to have taken out their rear deck (to remove 6x9s for instance) I figured I'd ask here....
My coupe had the factory spoiler mounted 3rd brake light and I changed my trunk out, then managed to pick up a factory 3rd brake light housing from another member. My question is whether the rear deck has just the 4 or 6 or however many holes for that housing to clip into, or if there's an entire section cut out of it that the housing mounts on top of.
Bonus awesome'ness and thanks to anyone who's actually got pics of theirs while it was disassembled and even more bonus awesome'ness and thanks to anyone who can give a couple rough measurements for where and how much to cut out of my stock deck.
Thanks guys, I know I could figure it out in time, but time is not on my side. There's a meet next weekend that I really want to make and at the moment I have no interior, so time is not something I've got enough of between fiberglass, suede, a lot of paint, a lot more wiring, and a job.

Here's a couple shots of the sedan rear deck (subwoofer hole) with the interior panel removed:
And here's the underside of the interior trim (this one has been hit up with vibration dampener):
Both of these didn't have the factory spoiler, so I don't know if there's any difference.
I hope this helps.

Wrath that's pretty close to what I what I need. I can probably figure it from there, but just to be safe - do you have a shot of the top half of the rear deck trim panel? That's the piece I meant to talk about, but I realize now I wasn't very specific, I need to cut the trim panel, not the metal under-tray that it mounts to. And - off-topic it's pretty cool to see what they did with the actual sub cutout, I'd totally do something with that if my coupe had one!
