**The dual-zone a/c climate control functions work perfectly. Never had any issues.

**The radio function works perfectly. Never had any issues.

**The cassette function works perfectly. Never had any issues.

**There are TWO problems with the CD function:

• FIVE of the six CD changer slots (#2-6) work perfectly; however, the #1 button does not work and thus the #1 slot won't play, although you can eject CDs out of the #1 slot if you remove #2-6 first and then ask for #1.

• This head unit does also have the known intermittent left front speaker issue (where the sound comes in and out of the left front speaker when CDs are played). This does NOT occur during radio play. It is not a big deal unless you are an audophile and/or listen to CDs a lot.

I have not been able to test the XM or Satellite functions since I never subscribed to those services. You could potentially use a cassette adapter with an mp3 player to circumvent the left speaker issue, but I honestly have never tried it.

UPDATE: the CD-changer stereo has already been sold! Just the metal chassis and silver dash kit/faceplate with dual AC controls remain. Asking $20 for both.

 

New update 10/24/11 - the metal chassis has now been sold.

All that remains is the OEM plastic dash kit / finisher with dual-zone AC climate control. It is in excellent aesthetic condition, and all the climate controls function perfectly.

Asking just $10 for this part by itself (shown in the first pic)! At this price, you can easily replace your OEM faceplate if the finish is scratched up. It would be easy to ship, as I have the box from the Metra kit which fits the OEM finisher well, and together, it's still pretty light.
