Advice on new radio

Just bought an 06 G35 sedan. Runs perfectly only 51k miles on it. However my only pet peeve is the stock audio system. I have been pricing new headunits but the brackets are ridiculous. Is there an easy way to upgrade the radio with some sort of IPOD connection? From what I have found I will not be able to view what is playing on my stock unit (non Bose). My other thought was to see if any of the G35s have an upgraded stock radio with Ipod connection that I could purchase. I know I know, I am being cheap. Thanks for any advice!!!!

You have 2 options. Buy the adapter for the stock headunit that will allow you to play your ipod, or buy an aftermarket set up.

Sorry to be the harbinger of doom.

mine is 04 and has a tape player. I just run the ipod tape adapter plugin. Sounds great and was only 11 bucks. I have the bose audio system though so I am very content
