In terms of what it can do, since it is just basically a regular computer, it has the potential to do anything you can get a typical windows XP desktop to do. What UbiquityV does is allow you to do many of these things safely while driving. I just updated the digitalwheelz site with a feature list of what will be supported in the software here: http://www.digitalwheelz.com/UbiquityV_About.htm Theres also only a single screen shot of the program since the final skin is not finished yet, but there will be more as the program gets closer to the release date. For an idea of how it runs, it is similar in some ways to windows media center, but with a lot more interface elements, features, and customizability specifically for in vehicle use.
In terms of hardware, I will be putting a complete package together once the software is done that will run it at the optimal level. It will be priced to compete with typical high end head units like the AVIC-N1, but offer far more performance and features at the same cost with a complete navigation enabled package probably running around $1500.
