Did you use the PAC ROEM-NIS2 or the basic wiring harness?

Go into the settings, I think it's the LOUD setting. It's either off or at Low, put to to Mid. I'll take a picture for you next time I'm in the car.

There are a number of EQ settings that will affect it... the loudness is one and there is also the sound staging that can be messed with. Nevermind that you can actually bump up the bass in the "sub" setting- but a lot of what you're going to get out of it depends on whether you upgraded the stock speakers. Not going to lie... the stocks are crap compared to even a modest upgrade. Did a full upgrade on all the stock speakers (disconnected the ones behind the front seat on the sides) and I couldn't believe the difference. Also ran a single 10" JL Audio forward firing (through the back seat) and it sounds disgusting.

I have the 110 and haven't been too happy about it considering the cost but it's not horrible either. I just upgraded the interface to the 120... and haven't quite adjusted to the whole setup yet but I'm sure the functions are the same... just located differently.

I think I switched out the wiring harness cause I got an audio specialist to install it for me. I tried all the EQ and loudness but it just doesn't sound the same as the old system. I don't want to blow me speakers either.

I just got this Pioneer as well. What year G do you have? I have an 07 coupe and noticed when I installed it there's a small space at the bottom between the radio and the dash kit, do you have this as well? I bought the JDM double din so I know that's not the issue...I'm just wondering if there's another bracket I need that would fill the gap...

The scosche universal trim ring is what I use, as it cuts easy to put in any gaps, there's a link to it in my sticky'd shopping list, but really, any black plastic with a straight edge and a little texture to it can fill the gap if you cut to fit.
