Wiring issues I believe
Wiring issues I believe
So over the past two days I have been installing a new head unit, subs, amp, and finally my drivers side coupe seat. As far as I know all of the audio stuff went well. I did the passenger seat a couple weeks back and had no issues, the drivers side on the other hand seemed a little more difficult. I ended up cutting the harness off my sedan seat and putting it on the coupe seat. Wire colors were different so I may have made a mistake here. Anyway, I got the seat into the car, plugged it in and had power along the seat track but no reclining power. I started the car, and now have no power at all to the seats. So here I will list the problems:
- No power to drivers seat
-Windshield wipers wipe twice upon starting car
- Car doesn't honk when I lock the doors
- Battery has been dying, I assumed it was the stock radio draining it but I can hear a faint sound coming from the engine compartment almost like when your ear is ringing when the car is off.
- CEL is on
I'm not sure what other problems as of now, haven't had time to look for any other problems.
The only thing that I can think of is I mis-wired the seat and blew a fuse, but that doesn't explain some of the other problems to me.

After unplugging the drivers seat from the car I cured most of my issues. Now I need to get a wiring diagram for both years so I can get this drivers seat hooked up correctly.
