Kenwood DDX7015 v. Eclipse AVN2454

I would like to introduce myself to the Forum. I have been reading for many months and finally decided to jump into the Double-Din Conversion and adding an aftermarket Nav. I am trying to compare the Kenwood DDX7015 which comes coupled with KNA-DV3100 as the navigation part vs. the Eclipse Avn-2454. I would appreciate any suggestions, concerns, ideas on this setup.

Kenwood DVD-Nav
Kenwood Screen

vs.

Eclipse AVN2454

Thank you for the help!
Dave

My bro-in-law got sponsored with all kinds of Kenwood. Just from his experience, Kenwood it not as good as it used to be. He has had problems with his Kenwood HU to the point that he dropped Kenwood as one of his sponsors. I believe he is now looking to Eclipse for sponsorship. I myself have neither. I have the Pioneer AVIC-N1. Its awesome!

I have the Eclipse AVN 2454 in my 6MT sedan, so feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions about that unit. You should also do a search for an old thread that I started when I first got it installed. It contains my initial thoughts about the unit.

i have the AVN

pros: the navi is built-in so no need to hide anything, like the kenwood
it looks very clean and stock, when installed

cons: mp3 player sucks and is slow as he!!
cant punch in a phone number for destination

my moms lexus comes with the Eclipse AVN from factory and it comes with a whole load of more options on it, way more than mine, but i think they had more physical room to play with...
