I finished running all my wires and installed my headunit and everything so it was safe to turn on the car. I turned her on and everything works except the buttons on the door panel and the buttons that open the trunk. I hooked everything up because they are lit up and one of the window button clicks like it wants to go up but it just cant. The windows have been all the way down for 2 weeks without power while I was working on it. is there some fuse I maybe blew or is there a reset or something? PLEASE HELP!!!

 

alright so its just the door panels. I accidently switched the button in the passenger side

 

and im pretty sure the door lights (on bottom) as well as the key light doesnt turn off even after I lock the car.

 

anyone? I have a remote start system that came with the car and the only way the driver side window goes up is if the door is open and the car is started with the remote start.

 

I'm willing to bet it's the alarm. Bring it back to the place that installed your alarm.

 

see thats the thing. IOt came from the dealership like this when we bought it in 05. I or the infiniti delaership does not know where it was installed, but I can tell u this much. He certainly did a hackjob. Its a directed valet remote start system with a directed automate am1 alarm system. The only thing I did was take off the filter he had splicing off one of the alarm system wires to run the tv's. I am going to try to re add it and see if it does anything but I dont think it will because it was getting power from the system not filtering it.
