so i got a metra dash kit in my car but i hate the buttons. i want to keep the dash because i got it painted. can the JDM buttons fit on the metra kit or no?

 

Wow.. That paint really makes those ugly buttons POP. I think the JDM button area costs more than the whole Metra kit. Besides the buttons, your interior looks good. I like the wood arm pulls.

 

sorry man unless ur really good at fabrication the jdm controls will not fit. The clips are different and the inside is completely different. If u spent that much why didnt u just go jdm?

 

becus i got the kit for $90 the jdm kit cost alot but now i regret not getting it (N)

 

I found my JDM on here used for 275. You might want to try and sell your Metra on here and find a JDM.

 

I actually did just what you are saying. The ONLY modifications I had to make was a bit of sanding on the metro kit itself (which would tear up your black paint) on the sides of a few of the holes for the buttons. And thats it. I'll get a pic tomorrow for reference.
