Hey, I'm a new owner, just had a couple questions about the Navi. Can we show gas station/ATM icons, etc on the display? If so, how do I turn them on? My friends Honda has it, just wondering if we do too.

Also, can we play DVDs on it? I thought we couldn't cuz all of my friends with other cars and navigation can't. But my friend went to the dealer and was looking at a G35, and she told me the salesman was telling her that you could watch DVDs on it. I don't see how, theres no remote or controls for it? I have that DVD thing on top of my glove compartment.

 

hm.....i can answer the second half of ur question. Other G owners have found another device to make their stock DVD player play DVDs. You need this in order to play DVDs.

Yes, you can turn that on. Go to Navigation->Nearby Display Icons, and select the icons you want to see.
