I havent seen CDTs in any retail store (though that doesnt mean they aren't out there), go to their website and search for CDT dealers in your area I guess??
The HD 3 ways were what I've heard. They're pricey though...
what budget do you want to stick to for components?

a 2000w 4 channel amp? whats that, 500w per channel? way too much power for any components in his budget.
kidgotheat are you replacing rear speakers as well?
either way, for a 650 dollar budget you can get a pretty good setup, I would include sound deadening in that cost.
something like the RF punch/power series or JL slash series multi-channel amps delivers good clean power for not too much money, basically stick with name brand stuff and not crap and you'll be okay for a highs amp for the most part. You're not trying to win any SQ contests here I'm sure.
As for comps,
around the $300 range,
Rainbow SLCs (or better if you can find a set used, like the Germanium line)
Hertz HSK
DLS up6
CDT HD if you can find a set cheap enough
Boston Pro60s
honorable mention: Phoenix Gold RSd 6.5s... Ive heard nothing but good things about these comps, and they're dirt cheap. 100 dollars a set brand new is not uncommon. Loud and clear and retain quality..
for deadening order some dynamat, but just about any equivalent brand is better... Fatmat, Cascade, Brown Bread, Second Skin, etc.

I don't know of any amp on the market that does a legit 500 x 4 @ 4 ohms.
I would spend the most on the comps and the least on the amp. Plenty good budget amps out there for <150.
Id xs 65's $429

I've actually checked out a few of those comps like the hertz hsk and the pro60 ........ Also I'm not sure if I want to change out the rear speakers for sure but if I did should I just throw in a decent set of coaxials for the rears
