Poop... I want teh BOOM but no luck... :(

Hello everyone. I have an 06 Coupe with the BOSE package. I tried installing an aftermarket amplifier and subwoofer yesterday following ALL the instructions on this sticky: https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-v...g35-coupe.html but am not getting ANY noise coming out of my subwoofer. I have installed sound systems before so I know the basics of installing these things.

I installed an "AXXESS INTERFACE'S AX-ADCT2" line out convertor, an Alpine MRP-M1000 amplifier (I know it's overkill for a 500 watt subwoofer but my brother gave it to me for free) and an Alpine Type R 12" subwoofer (SWR-1243D I think but it might be SWR-1223D, can't remember which one I bought and I don't have the box anymore)

I know for DAMN SURE the power wire and ground wire going to the amp are installed correctly, the speaker wires coming FROM the subwoofer TO THE SPEAKER WIRE connection in the box are wired AND the speaker wires coming from the box connection GOING TO THE AMP are wired correctly (+ to +, - to -).

So now what's left are the remote turn on wire, rca cables, and line out convertor wires.

The remote turn on wire for the amp was spliced into the blue harness of the stock BOSE amp and is working since the blue light on the amp is ON.

The wires for the line out convertor were spliced into the blue wiring harness of the stock BOSE amp and the power, ground, and "remote" wire are hooked up correctly because the red LED light on the convertor is actually lit. The last 3 wires were also spliced into the blue wiring harness. Here are the wire instructions for the convertor:

http://contentdocs.installernet.com/...duct/29533.pdf

The left fronts and right fronts (+ and -) were spliced into the wires that the above mentioned sticky said to splice into.

Now all that is left are the rca cables. Those cables are hooked up from the convertor to the amp the right way. + to + and - to -

WHY I NO GET BOOM?!?!

I would really appreciate any USEFUL input and help as this has me EXTREMELY bummed out... Please no thread jacking with comments trying to sell me stuff or asking unrelated questions here. Thank you in advance.

annnnnnnnnd I forgot to mention that I disconnected the rear 6x9's. Yes, I have sound coming from ALL speakers also (even the 6x9's before they were disconnected)

Inline fuse for the power wire is good and the 4 25A fuses in the amp are ok also.

Try hooking something else up into your amp's inputs to see if everything's working on that end.
