Ok, so I have an 06 Coupe with Bose headunit. The buttons I have across the top are...
CD | RADIO | PTY/CAT | DISP

When I hit radio it cycles through AM - FM1 - FM2 - AM.

I ordered a Grom Audio auxillary input for a non-Sat and it's not working. I was told to simply hit the CD button twice for it to go into external CD changer mode but that doesn't work.

Will satellite radio only show on the headunit if it's connected and has a paid subscription?!

Do I have Satellite Radio?!

My button said "sat" for the satellite radio I believe.. its been awhile since I had my oem radio..

 

Did you get the aux input to work? Just bought my 06 G35 and looking for a simple solution rather than a $150 one. Thanks.

 

it should also say SAT1 - SAT2

 

Haven't fooled with it since I first tried to install it. I actually finally got my hands on a microSD card so I can update the firmware on it to see if it works by hitting the PTY/CAT button. When I get around to installing it, I'll update this thread. It's cold out right now and my Civic has my garage tied up.

 

Any update here? How do you update firmware with micro SD card? I would like to do the same. Thanks.
