Is buying the Bracket necessary for double din conversion??

I went back and forth on this with a couple of people, but would like some greater input as to whether or not it is necessary to buy this $35 dollar piece of metal. Can someone give some input?

No we have never had to use it. You can use the stock bracket.

remami-I got a quick question for ya:

I had sound advice here in Miami install my FM modulator and mp3 changer from my old car. In the sedan, where do you think he ran the AiNET cable from the trunk, as I'm gonna have to run my RCAs (or where would you run RCAs to the trunk? (my amp is mounted on rear of trunk on driver's side as point of reference.

I would run the RCA under the center console and under the back seat to the trunk just to keep it away from the car's computer and the amp power wire. Both can cause engine noise. As far as where they ran your AiNet I have no idea where thay would run it. We are not affiliated with any of the other Sound Advices out in Florida.
