So Does the 4400 come with the app integration like the 4300? Im guessing the 4400 is better than the 4300?

The 4400 does have an app mode but I'm not sure he it differs from the 4300. The app mode you can control things like YouTube, Netlifx, etc on your iPhone and view it on the receiver. I think the main difference from the 4400 and 8400 is the detachable face, resolution and it has an advanced app mode. Not sure what it does compared to the normal app mode.

 

i have this unit aswell. when i plug my iphone in and run the app mode on the unit it says i need to install a app on my iphone from the appstore. what app are they talking about?

 

That's most likely the Pandora app.

 

8400's got the detachable face and dual-zone features, so if you have a minivan and want the kids to watch a dvd while you listen to music in the front, there's that option.

 

There's really not a whole lot of difference between the 44 and 84. Detachable face, dual zone video, a different screen layout, and mixtrax are about it as far as I can tell.

The app you download is called app radio. It just allows you to use the decks iPhone integration features.

amazon usually has this model, i got mine from there everything works. I believe i paid 400. but it seems like the prices are going up.
