I bought the metro kit awhile back to save money. But now I want the jdm AC controls. I will be wrapping or painting the kit either way so the finish does not make a difference to me. And the metra kit was able to give me a flush set up with the stereo. So if at all possible I would like to save the 100 or more on buying a jdm trim piece, but I would like to get the AC controller.

So ... will the jdm ac controller fit on the metro dash kit?

 

With enough fabrication, yes, but that would be more work than putting the JDM controls into your factory trim and modifying the factory trim to house a DDin radio. Plus, you could sell the metra to help pay for the JDM climate controls.
