U310BT static when audio is Off
Hello,
When I hold down the SRC/Off button to turn off the music in my recently installed U310BT, I hear static/fuzz from the speakers
It is not loud static, but noticeable when the cars engine is not running
Does anyone know how to make the static stop?
Thanks!

If the problem has existed since the install, take it back and make them fix it.
It's entirely possible they hooked the amp turn-on wire to the accessory wire instead of the remote power wire.
Then again, it's best buy, so they could have done lots of things wrong. You paid them to do it right, make them fix it, or demand the money for the labor refunded so you can have somebody else fix it.

BestBuy's explanation:
Because the U310BT Amp is connected to the second Bose Amp, there will always be a small amount of feedback - Bestbuy will be no help
What can I do myself to fix the issue? Should I go in and find out what harness they used, and if it is connected to the accessory instead of the remote power?
Im assuming this threat is the best possible resource for this: https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-v...urce-list.html

They had used the 70-7550 harness - I replaced myself with the 70-7551
It fixed the static problem! however, now when the engine is running, there is a faint squeal - when the car is on, but the engine is not running, there is no squeal
Thoughts on what I did wrong?
I have all the grounds connecting at a single point (both 70-7551 grounds, ground from HU, ground from Metra Axxess ASWC, and a black and green wire coming from the car - bestbuy did this) - they are grounded to the screw underneath the clock...
I disconnected the black and green wire - the steering wheel controls stopped working when i did, however the faint squeal remained when the engine was running- when i reconnected the wire, the steering wheel controls came back, and the faint squeal remained
Metra tech support suggested getting "ground loop isolators"
Thanks
