Amp Gone Bad

I have an 05 Coupe with the "premium" Bose system and navigation. Recently I have been having trouble with what I believe is the amp. Lately, when starting the car, (about 50% of the time at first.) the stereo starts fine, will play CDs and picks up radio, but I get no audio from the speakers. (no audio from the nav system either). In the beginning, I could turn off the car and back on, and chances are it would come back, and work until the car was turned off. But it has been getting progressively worse. Now it has completely stopped working.
I am guessing that the amp is the problem. Any ideas or suggestions on what I can do? I done i plan on selling the car soon, so I dont need any better then stock, but I do need to fix it. I see oem amps on eBay for $200, but is there a cheaper alternative?
Thanks for the help!
Brandon

I'd keep an eye on the marketplace here. Just make sure you get a coupe amplifier, as the sedan is 5-channel vs. the coupe's 6-channel.

Bump this thread then making a new topic... How can we test the amp to see if it's bad? No sound but everything works normally.

If the radio functions as usual, get a multimeter and check the power and audio signal wires at the harness that goes into the amp. If they're all giving good signal, that pretty much leaves the amp as the problem.
