Hey all - I have a set of MB Quart component speakers and I get some crackling through the tweeters. It is predictably sporatic - meaning that it doesn't happen all the time, but it does it consistently during the same part of the track on certain songs. I notice it most during guitar riffs, but not really at all if listening to rap. My amp was just rebuilt, so I don't think that's it. I double-checked all my connections and it happens when listening to FM or Ipod, so I'm assuming its either the crossovers or the tweeters are just bad/possibly blown.

Does this sound logical? If so, how do I know which one it is?
