Car won't start after wiring accident

2005 G35 coupe...Before I start I want to admit my stupidity up front, however, if anyone can help i would appreciate it. I was running a speaker wire through the firewall boot on the drivers side of car. Had a knife through the boot, pulled the knife out and was going to put back through to make hole bigger, but when I was putting knife through I must of hit a wire and the engine began to crank. I immediately pulled knife out and engine stopped cranking. I then put key in ignition and tried to start car, everything works and engine turns over, but will not start. I suspect that the security system is preventing me from starting car, but cant figure out how to override...please help!

Sounds about like it can't read the chip in the key.

Who knows how may wires you cut before you hit the one that started it cranking though?

Any updates on this?

I would doubt it would be the OEM security, I would assume you've cut injector/ignition/sensor wires.

Sticking knife through a firewall? That's a new one. Thexton actually makes an $8 wire insertion tool that is perfect for poking through grommets without taking out any wires on the other side.
