where do you guys mount your ipod/aux out boxes
The 3rd party guys like USA SPEC or isimple.
I got a isimple for my g35 sedan with navi for the aux. First off, the aux port isn't exactly secure (maybe if i taped it really good it would stay). I normally mount these things BEHIND the radio but there is little to no room for that fat box. 2nd option would be the glove box, it was a decent fit but routing the wire from the radio didn't allow the cable to sit flush and in time could damage the cable. So right now i just have it exposed on the pass side.
I dont have a chubby option and i dont have a upper glove box option either because the navi system takes it place. The cable isn't long enough for me to tuck it under the pass seat. I'm kinda in no where land right now.

Passenger (right) side in space right behind where panel with cigarette light mounts. This space is enclosed on right by black tray under glove box. I had an iSimple and secured it in this location for a year, very easy to access and unplug by taking the tray out, was a breeze to do firmware upgrades.
So i was wondering with the i-simple I looked it up on ebay i see some go for like $55 dollars than some go for $100 but the $100 dollar ones say for Nissan and Infiniti is there a difference from the 2 or do they just say that to hike up the price?? Also how easy is it to hook up it up to our stock stereo do we have to cut and splice anything?? If someone could post pictures that would be helpful.
Thanks
Thanks
No difference as far as I know; use iSimple website and model number to double check. Install is plug and play but you have to have access to back of radio which means removing it.
