I was thinking about getting just 1 10 inch subwoofer and an amp in my 4 door g35. I have the base sound system right now. Was wondering if anybody has done it before and how does it sound??

 

Plenty of people have done it, including myself. Most use an LOC (line out converter) I didn't. i have a JL audio slash series amp that can handle speaker level input. So all I did was buy the amp, the sub, and use my roomates left over wiring, and my **** sounds great to my ears, for what I payed and the trouble I went through.
