Amp lights up but no Power?

Everything seemed to be hooked up right. I know the 12V is connected to the battery just fine. RCA and remote seem fine. But when I turn the the key, amp just lights up and neither the power nor the protect light are lighting up. I'm guessing it could be the ground even though when I take it off the lights go off, then when I place it back on the metal it lights back up. I did have a little trouble connecting the fuse box. But I think I did that part right too. Heres where I grounded it to:

I tried about 4 spots to ground.

Anyone know what may be wrong with it all? The amp is 2+ years old, but I haven't thrown it around or anything.

Maybe the photos just aren't very clear, but I don't see anything resembling a proper grounding for an aftermarket amp in them, nor any power or ground wire thick enough to be bringing power to an aftermarket amp.

Wow, just noticed I didn't take a pic of the wire actually in the pic. But its some thick wire. Are there any proper grounding places on the bottom half of the trunk? Thats what those pictures are of.

^ This.

The seatbelt bolts, provided you sand the paint off beneath them, are a great grounding point.

Found problem, fuse in the fuse holder wasn't touching the other side.
