Navteq version v 6.10, another waste of $

I have a 2003 G35 coupe with factory navigation, wish I had never bothered with the nav system because it is almost useless in Canada. Only has most of the the major highways and larger town and cities. Forget about using it up north or off the main highways, it is so f****ing annoying that their upgraded discs have not added any more roads, Yeh McDonald's and other paid advertisers are represented on the 6.8 maps but I still haven't got a full road map yet,
So now version Navteq v 6.10 is out, and they want more money again for probably nothing again.
You would think that the updates should be available for free downloading.

I will never ever pay for factory navigation again, unless it's Google which I know won't screw you like Navteq does.

I have an 06 and feel exactly the same way. Btw I've "heard" you can download free copies of updated DVDs off the Internet . Doesn't make them any less useless however

Yep, another reason to not bother with factory nav for anything but mileage.

Actually, I use mine to keep track of miles between oil changes too, so there's that.
