If you buy factory navagation you need to up grade andpay at least $170.00.
If you buy, from Frys or Best Bus, it calls Tom Tom, its thebest and its portable, also NO NEED to upgrade, theydo it for you automaticaLLY.
on my wife's 2003G35, we paid $2,500, since my wife not interested to upgraDE
or waist $170.00 every yeaR, its only works 80%, its not worth it.

Here you go. Have fun putting and wiring up this and more to get your trashy, outdated, POS factory nav. If you're lucky, you'll only pay about $600-1,000 for all the parts you need, and some people have gotten removing the entire dash of the car to put the new wiring harness in to only about 6-8 hours, so you might be able to get it done in a good, long weekend.

Or you could be smart and just pick up a standalone garmin, with lifetime map updates, traffic, portability and a huge upgrade in usability for well under $200. The entire unit is less than a single map data upgrade for the factory navigation unit.
