I just want to have a 1/4" cable for my ipod... help!

I just want to have a 1/8" cable for my ipod... help!

Hi all,
I've searched, and get so confused, sorry :/

I want to install a cable that connects to my stereo, with a 1/8" headphone cable, to go to the headphone jack of my iphone. My wife has a droid and we both use the car, so i only need the 1/8" headphone cable so it works with both options.

Is this my only option? (the PAC11-NIS)

Isn't there a cheaper way? I just want the 1/8" cable! don't need any controls from steering wheel besides volume...

There's also wired FM modulators, the USASPEC PA15-INF or tapping directly into the outputs like this:
