Hi all,

Long time lurker and not all that active lately. Having two kids plus working at Tesla Motors keeps me crazy-busy. If you ever wanted to feel like your G35 is a slow piece of crap, you need a ride in a Tesla Roadster or Model S. Eventually, you get over it and learn to love your own car again...

My 2003 1/2 G35 coupe has the dreaded AC / locked stereo problem and I'm ready to take the DDIN upgrade plunge. The interior is all black, and the car has the navigation system. Reading around tells me that the JDM is the only way to go for this configuration and that the quality is better anyway.

Here's the request: does anybody have a picture of the silver JDM conversion with a fully black interior? I'm trying to figure out if it would look good, or retarded. Please, post a pic or 3.

After I posted my request, I found the sticky "show us your DDIN installs" thread. Heh.

Here is the closest examples I found, and I'd love to know what you guys think.

My setup has the popup nav, so there will be buttons vs. the top door shown in this pic:

I'm very much on the fence about the silver wrapping around the far sides of the driver and passenger air vents. Opinions are requested. I think I like it.

I think all black works best, but it's yours, so do as you please.
