What are some good door speakers for a 06 G with bose/navi

I have a fully loaded 06 G coupe and am thinking of replacing all the stock speakers since theyre 6 yrs old. How many speakers are there in our cars? I know atleast 1 in each door and 2 in the back seat area? And what would be a good speaker to buy? Im not trying to spend 1k upgrading audio but also dont want cheap crap either. lol its not to win a sound competition or anything, just for me.

I read online it says I have 3 types of speakers in my car, 6.5", 5.25", and 6x9, can anyone verify this? If its true I found these options online what do you think about them:

Would they be a bolt in direct fit replacement?

Upgrading the speakers won't do you any good with the bose amp still in the equation. Upgrading the amp will let you get more out of the stock speakers, but upgrading both will do a lot of good. Budget-wise the Image Dynamics CTX-65CS are great for the price. Give them about 150w each and you'll be amazed.

One 6.5 in each door with a tweeter in the sail panel, one 6.5 in the rear side, and two 6x9's in the rear deck in the coupe, but putting something like those ID CTX-65CS's in the front alone will give you better audio than the entire stock bose setup.

Thanks for the advice, would this setup be pretty decent or would you pick a different amp?

That would be a solid setup. Just took a drive with those Image Dynamics. Very good. I still prefer my Boston Acoustics Pro60se's, but I wouldn't buy the Pro60se's again, when the CTS-6.5cs are half the price.
