Phatnoise Digital Music System

I got this from another G35driver member a couple years ago. Works like a champ! I can't promise that it can fit any other generation Gs. If your stock stereo has the SAT button and you don't have a satellite tuner in your car, this will plug into that jack and is fully compatible. It fools the car into thinking there is a very big CD changer in your car. I know the sedan has the jack under the rear package tray beauty cover on the passenger side of the car. I don't know where it is for the coupe.

Comes with the software, user manual, docking station, hard drive controller with cable, and two hard drives. One is loaded and works fine. The other is good, but has been fully formatted. In order to use it again, you will need to reformat it in FAT32 to get it to work. NTFS isn't supported. I goofed and reformatted it on an NTFS computer. So I had to buy another cartridge online.

Any questions, give me a yell. I have this boxed and ready to ship. I was told this system sold new for well over $1000 back in the day. I'm asking $200 plus shipping OBO.

Bump. This is OBO. Can't beat getting two 32Gb hard drives for music and such to play in your car. No need for cables to jack your phone into.

Come on people. Taking up space in the garage.......in a corner..........in a small cardboard box. Reasonable offers won't be ignored. It only works on the G. So I can't market it anywhere else.

If you have a SAT button and don't have factory XM or Sirius in use, there is a connector in the back of the car that allows you to connect this and control it directly with the head unit. I have all the manuals for this system to help set it up for use.

Whoa, too many questions I have no answer for. Doubt they are SATA, but no need for that. They are laptop drives in a shell that's compatible with the main unit. It talks to you with voice commands. There is one drive with music loaded already in MP3 format. The other drive needs to be FAT32 formatted before it can be used. The software for this only does FAT32, not NTFS. So be warned. Let me know. I have this boxed and ready for shipment if you care to get this. It's completely plug n play. No modifications needed to install this.

Fat32 FYI is like a flash drive that's the difference windows can format too either one... Sata is way faster trAnsfer.. Ssd is solid state drive which men super fast no moving parts... Straight access like a flash drive

I knew all that. You asked if these can be upgraded to use those drives. I can't answer that. I can tell you that if you have the satellite button you can use this. If you can transfer in FAT32, you can put songs on the drive. The player only works in FAT32 so you can't format the drive to be NTFS. It will give you an error.

So are you interested?
