4080: Any word on adding the Infiniti logo? If you're willing to do it, I'll wait. Also, do you have a 12" box for the driver's side of the sedan? The pics on original post look like they're for the passenger side. I ran all my wires on the driver side, and a speaker box there should hide all my wires quite nicely. Lemme know: opala17@hotmail.com

We are slammed with orders. The Infiniti grill should be reality in about two weeks. The sedan box that we have is for the pass. side only. I would not suggest hiding a bulk of wires behind my boxes. The moulde that was taken for these boxes was of a stock G35. So, if there is any bulge in the trunk panel due to wires then the box will stick out. The speaker wire running to the box is OK, all the wires that for the system is not.

I wanted to chime in that 4080 is a stand-up guy with a stand-up product. I really love this sub box and really helps on the little room we have in our trunk. If I had a conventional box I'd really have no room at all.

Thanks again 4080 for making such a quality box. I know we all appreciate the work that you do.

Its a Profile amp. I know I know, they are usally POS amps however, I believe when it comes to pushing a sub, as long as you give the right wattage its fine. If I were powering speakers I wouldnt use the Profile orobably but I've had really good luck with Profile amps so far. I just have a 600 watt mono amp going to it pushing 300 watt RMS. How does it sound? Really good to me after I got in the Infinity components and the JL really hits hard.

Here are my final install pics of the 4080 box.......I went to the Infiniti dealer and got the trunk mat (for free ) and the box fits much better! the clip nows stays under the rubber gasket.

Thanks 4080 for building a great sub box! I showed the box to a friend of mine who used to be a professional car audio installer......he was impressed (and thats not so easy to do!). He commented on how thick the fiberglass was and the quality of the construction.

I have a 10 inch Diamond Audio sub 500W RMS driven with a Sony Mono Amp and it really pumps the bass into the car! The sound is tight and clean!

Only thing now is a new grill cover.......I used a 1/2 inch spacer ring to allow for the extra depth on the diamond audio sub (really easy to make and install by the way).....combine the extra 1/2 inch spacer with the speaker travel and when the BOOM hits it blows the original speaker cover across the trunk! I was wondering if 4080 could supply a special cover to account for this? and with the Infiniti emblem too

The box just sits there......it is a perfect fit into the space.....all you do is pull up on the truck gasket and slide the box in place and push the gasket back down. The box stays put........great idea, no drilling or installing brackets!

I think the box is about .82 cu. ft.........if you search I think you can find the thread here............good size for a sealed enclosure, great for clean clear tight bass!
