Desperate need for 2006 G35 OEM Audi Wiring Diagram
Desperate need for 2006 G35 OEM Audi Wiring Diagram
While trying to check out a defective CD changer (Common I've learned)...
After reinstalling it all (and reconnecting everything as it was originally... NOW the Radio, AC Unit, and associated instruments in that assembly are completely without power.
Im afraid I either missed a step, or a wire broke loose from a connector during removal.
If ANYONE knows where I can get the wire diagrm for the 2006 Sedan's OEM Radio/AC assembly...
PLEAS PLEASE PLEASE post a link or email the pdf to chris@clever-dudes.com

Fuse would be my first place to check.
Failing that, the wiring diagram can be found here: http://psedog.com/cars/fsm/g35/coupe/2006/av.pdf

Thanks
none of the fuses in the battery compartment were blown... but since the A/C & Radio stopped at the same time... Im convinced its DEFINITELy power related.
Whether an aftermarket fuse blew... or a common power wire came loose in a connector while reinstalling the AC/Radio assembly back into its console.
It wasnt until I reinstalled the AC/Radio assembly back into the console that I noticed the entire assembly was now inop (or without power at least)
Tomorrow I'll run voltages/wires with a multimeter until I discover the broken wire after excluding an aftermarket fuse.
ETA: I notice the title says Navigation, but the assembly in this 06 G35 Sedan is only a Radio, CD Changer, and AC Control Unit... no phone or Nav (to my knowledge.)
I hope the wire data on this sheet will still be accurate

I hadn't noticed the one in the kick panel... but I only saw the one single 6"x2" snap-lid fuse enclosure beside the battery...
Im headed back over there later, I'll have to look for those while im in there.
thanks again

Solved.
It turned out to be a disconnected ribbon cable (like the type used inside laptops to interface with the display).
At the bottom of the Radio unit, there's a ribbon cable that interfaces the faceplate (and all its buttons) with the main module; it must've inadvertently disconnected while pulling the unit.
Thanks for all the help.
