I have a 2005 g35 coupe, still with the 2005 navigation. Is it worth dropping the money for the update? Anyone have the updates / know if it changes the way the navigation / options look as well? I think the 2005 option screens and look pretty tacky IMO.. but if the updates change the way everything looks I might spend the money for the update.

No, it's not worth it, no, it doesn't change the interface at all. For less of the price of the update, you can get a brand new garmin with better options, accuracy and everything else.

All it does it update the map database. Very nice, but not cheap if you want to buy it on the up n up. I've heard there are ways to get it for free tho.
