hello,

this is my first post to g35. im new here as a member but constantly read the forums for help with my 04 g coupe 6mt. so this brings me to my next point.

as we all know the stock alarm on the g is anything but desirable. so i have a viper 350 responder 2 way alarm i orginally bought for my wifes corolla. well i want to replace the alarm on the g with this viper one to protect my system but im lost in the sauce. i have found online the factory wiring diagram and location for the alarm wires but i have a few problems. 1) does this car need a aftermarket immbolizer even though it has a factory one? 2) does anyone have pictures or has done this themselves and has info or insight on how to properly wire this. i consider myself pretty comfortable with wiring so i feel as though i can complete this without a shops help.

any ideas or info?

Yes the car does need a bypass. I think i seen someone on my350 put a DIY up on a alarm install with pics but not sure what unit they went with.

 

is the 350 install the same as the g35?

 

I dont know if all the wires are the same color on the g35 and the 350 but im sure its pretty close. Maybe someone else can chime in that knows more about the 350. This install is way past my electrical skill. I would just take it somewhere cause i dont know jack about wiring in resistors or relays.

 

Hi gyus! I've got an issue with my car alarm. A couple of days ago my car alarm **** stopped working. I've changed the battery and then noticed that it starts working again when i'm not near my backyard. I've read that those signal blockers can do that, but I do not believe that some of neighbors got some of those. Do you know what else can interfere the signals of my alarm trinket?
