Satellite Radio for prewired 2003 G35 Sedan.. What parts do I need?

As the title states.. I have a 2003 G35 sedan that I have confirmed to be prewired..

I am trying to figure out what exact components I need for the install. I intend on having them installed but I am getting little information on where to obtain what I need. Any website links would be appreciated..

I have read many other threads here and elsewhere but nothing really detailing what I need so I'm sorry for the noob question.. I've been attempting to find this out for 2 days now and I'm getting frustrated. I want to make sure I grab the right thing.

I have called 1 dealership and they are asking for 500 F***ing dollars which I simply cannot agree with. This was apparently the price for a Sirius Satellite radio kit... I am hopeful that is not my only option as I know dealerships jerk you around on such things.

I greatly appreciate your help and apologize if I have missed any threads giving me my answer. I have searched the forum a few times.

Try one of our sponsors - Grubbs Infiniti - for the satellite radio kit, they list $265, although it's unclear if that includes the antenna (another $60).

Your best option, however, is to just get an aftermarket radio that supports satellite radio, as the factory radio has horrible reliability, and any money sunk into adapters for it will be wasted when the radio dies.

I may follow this route. Any recommendations off the top of your head? The radio is half shot anyway.. The CD player is just about gone. Between an I35 and a G35 I'm truly sick of the BS stock radio. Sometimes my hand hurts from beating on the damn thing so much to get all channels to play again. Love the car, hate the radio.

Yesterday I spent almost 3 HOURS on the phone with infiniti and finally got in touch with a "tech representative" who told me I only require the antenna and receiver but not the feeder cover or sub harness..

Do I require the feeder cover? I ask because I see you've listed it in your post, Phil.

Also I see the parts you've listed say they are only compatible with a 2005 G35 on your website.. (The Tuner and antenna) .. I input the part #'s posted into your websites search.

Just trying to make sure I got everything right. You guys have no idea what I've been through to try to obtain these parts.. Should have just came here 3 days ago.

Thank you again, I appreciate it A LOT.

***It's strictly for asthetic purposes, so you don't have that gangly wire from the antenna hanging, or showing up as much********

***There was a XM sat kit, that was for the 2003-2004 G35 but it's been long discontinued, and the service file, indicates to use the 2005 Parts list, so that's what I did, I recently sold the above parts to an online customer, and I have not heard that it didnt work***
