tweeters 4ohm???

So I bought a set of component speakers to replace my front speakers and got a 2ohm set if the tweeter is supposed to be 4ohm a 2 ohm should work just fine?

Also looking to replace rear side panel and rear deck what ohm rating and size are the rear side panel seems some say 5 1/4 some say 6.5???

Rear side panel 6.5

2 ohm tweeters cannot be used to replace 4 ohm tweeters unless the amp powering it supports it, otherwise it'll put excess strain on the amp. The factory amp fails under the load of the factory parts, so I wouldn't recommend using a 2 ohm component set with the factory amp.

So bottom line if I install my 2 ohm component speaker set the amp will be fried quickly, eventually, not work at all?

Any one might happen. Bose parts are built as cheap as possible, so there's a huge variance in the quality, part of the reason they never release any spec sheets on their parts. You could get lucky and have it work fine for years, or it could instantly fry it.

My advice is to get rid of the entire bose system to remove the uncertainty and total lack of quality that is the bose system. The amp in particular is HORRIBLE.
