I have a whining noise coming from the alternator and the car speakers. On cold starts it sounds like the alternator is making the whining noise.

When I turn on the light I get the whining noise in the speakers and it gets louder when I turn on the fog lights. The RPM drops a little when I turn on the lights and I hear a click sound from the trunk. After driving the car for couple minutes the whining noise from the speakers drops but you can still hear it.

I have a sound system but I installed it a year ago with no whining noise issues. Any idea what causing it?
