I was in my car the other and turned ny ac on it started making a screeching noise and then suddenly stoped blowing air....it sound like it goes on but no hot or cold air out any vents...any help is appreciated...thanks

I opened the hood to see where the main ac motor was and looked fine to me...I haven't done any other research on it since...
