5 channel can work.

But, good 5 channel amps are not cheap. And the sub channels are very weak.

You should just save up and get a good system. I wish I would have followed the advice given to me and got two amps to begin with. I am one of those people that would rather spend money on my sound system than fancy wheels or mods to make my car go faster.

ha, you and me both dude..i figured with such an expensive amp, only 1 would be needed for the whole system. Im not looking for any competition style sound system. Im just looking for my hard hitting bass I used to have in my 99 ford explorer lol, along with some good speakers.

This amp will only power the speakers correct? How much of a difference will I hear between just installing both subs and front speakers to one amp as apposed to two amps powering each? Will I hear a significant different in the front speakers?

Yes, that amp is for the speakers only.

It's to be bridged down to 2 channels so you'll have 450 x 2 on tap for the front stage.

If you go with option 1, you won't have any amplifier headroom. & you'll only be able to use 1 of the subs.
