07 GX35X No Sound from Speakers

For the past few months I have been experiencing intermittent problems with no sounds coming out of my speakers. The bose audio system works (radio, CD, Aux input) the only issue is that about every 4th or 5th start there is no sound from any of the speakers. If I turn off the vehicle and turn it back on usually within 3 or 4 starts I usually get sound with no problems until I turn the vehicle off.

It can not be a loose wire or bad connection, it has to be something on the circuit board somewhere. The times audio does work there is no issue until the vehicle is turned off until the next start.

I took it to Infiniti and they were not helpful. They claimed they hard reset the audio system, but when I got the vehicle back all my preset radio stations were still there, so I wonder if they did anything.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I am not very good with electronics, can you suggest a solution or a repair shop in Calgary, AB I can take it to?

Thanks

Next time it isn't working, get a multimeter and check for signal at the inputs and outputs at the amp in the trunk. That'll let you know whether it's the headunit or amp.
