Aftermarket battery terminal clamp offerings for the G35?
I recently had to get my car retuned at UpRev after changing out my HFCs from Berk to CrawfordZ, they had initially set the idle a little low, so I had them raise it to 800rpm. During the retune, he noticed some strange things during tune and disconnected the battery, then reconnected the negative terminal and determined that the terminal clamp was loose (basically on as tight as it would go, but still moved freely clockwise/counter clockwise on the terminal) and stated that he sees that alot with the Nissan OEM clamps (bad design, etc.) and that a loose connection could potential damage the ECU and was affecting the Osiris tune. In the interim, he took a small screw and screwed it in between where the clamp comes together on the cable facing side and the negative battery terminal which forces the clamp to tighten up around it ("jury-rigged" as he put it, but this trick actually works quite well.)
So I am in the market for some quality aftermarket battery terminal clamps, Anyone have any suggestions?
I found one thread discussing Stinger: https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-v...ery-cover.html sadly, the pics appear to no longer work.
I have also found this: http://www.raptor-online.com/products7.html which appears to come in a variety of options and colors
Any other manufacturer suggestions or if anyone has used either of these products, what is your opinion of them? I figure since the connection needs to be good and tight at all times, I don't mind splurging a little on them.
