Here's some help to put fears to rest. I just retrofited an _old_ OEM NOS XM tuner to my 06 sedan with Bose premium head unit using pre-wire harness and extension harness. OP, post detail pics of the tuner connection showing the pins and the antenna connex and I can follow up with more info (part numbers and sources) once I see those. There are service bulletins that provide guidance for both sedan and coupe post-factory dealer accessory installs that provide all the info necessary to figure out what you need to do to complete a clean and workmanlike installation.
