The antenna adapter is carried by every car audio shop and even a lot of auto parts stores that have a car audio section.

As for the wire, I *think* it's the only purple wire in the loom shown here:

Bose problem

Hey guys, I just finished installing my double din in to my 04 g35 coupe. I installed a jvc kw-nx7000 which i took out my old car and used this for the audio PAC ROEM-NIS2. However the bass on it isnt as good as it was with the original so any idea why that might be? Please help because i really liked the way the speakers were working before

Lol yeah I thought you might.

Which wire harness did you use to connect your new head unit?

There are a couple of things I can think of since that I have seen other people mention in various places.

1. The Bose System (AMP + HeadUnit) has balanced inputs that are specifically calibrated for the stock head unit.

If your headunit does not send the signal type it expects i have heard there can be issues.

Most people seem to get past this by using PAC ROEMNIS2 and adjusting the levels to suit.
Amazon.com: PAC ROEMNIS2 Factory Premium Sound Interface Headunit Replacement, For Select Nissan Vehicles: Car Electronics Amazon.com: PAC ROEMNIS2 Factory Premium Sound Interface Headunit Replacement, For Select Nissan Vehicles: Car Electronics

Did you follow Wrathernauts Double Din Shopping list? If so you should not have any issues. https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-v...urce-list.html

2. Did you replace any speakers or just the head unit?

3. The other possibility could be that you need to adjust the eq settings on the head unit. I have a pioneer AVIC-Z110BT and had to set my to a EQ setting called POWERFUL which tunes the response for lo level base.

Yes i used the shopping list and instructions from the same one to install the only thing i didnt get was the steering wheel wire. I didnt replace any speakers or anything just the deck and i tried different settings on my deck but didnt help much. Was i suppose to change some settings on the PAC ROEMNIS2 or something because all i did was attached the wire according to the instructions from wrathernaut.

Most places list it as plug and play.

I would probably give pac a call tomorrow and ask them just in case.

Also make sure that it is wired correctly and that all speakers have sound (I know it sounds dumb but you will be surprised that it can be hard to notice speaker compensation behind you ears).

You could take a stab at the adjustments just to hear if it makes a difference but i know that would be a pain since you would have to rip out everything again.

I did an 06 coupe headlight swap a couple of years back but it came with all the bulbs in place so I never had to replace any of them.

Looks like it is a small wedge bulb 194 or 168 (same thing) but check the links below.

This should be able to help you out though.

Need ideas for different sub enclocure

Hey, guys so recently i installed a double din into my 2004 g35 however the bass doesnt sound as nice anymore so i decided to install a sub in the back. I was wondering if some people can give me some ideas on how they did theirs. I saw online the enclosure that fits on the driver side of the truck however it is to expansive. So i would really appreciate it if people can share their work and ideas on how they put one in their car

Unless you pay good money for a jl stealthbox or get a box costom made youre going to have a box sitting in your trunk. Look into Qlogic too. They may have a box for your car to fit into the corner or something.

hey guys i just finished installing a double din into my 2004 g35 coupe thanks to this amazing write up. However after the installation the bose system did not have the same bass as before. Now it sounds really plain without the bass. Anyone else experience this problem? If someone could help me with this problem id really appreciate it. I used PAC ROEM-NIS2 to do the wiring because it mentioned it helps keep the bose. The deck i installed was JVC kw-nx7000

In my deck wiring harness i had a solid blue wire which said automatic antenna which i connected to Antenna amp/power antenna from the PAC ROEM-NIS2 however in wiring instructions on the first page the wire its connected to is the switched power. Do you guys think that could be the problem?
