04 coupe audio install - DIY threads and other BS

I'm finally getting ready to finish purchasing the products and will install the system myself. So far, I've owned previously/collected: JL 500/1 for JL Audio 10W6 version 1 sub in a 4080 box (mad fine job on that box 4080), Boston Pro 6.5 components for front/rear (rear mounted on deck w/axis-mounted tweeters, removing the 6x9's). I'll use the factory HU for now (maybe one year tops), and use high-level outputs to send signal to the amps. I have a 15 farad alumapro cap and 1-ga power wire as well, since I'll end up using a lotta power. I'll upgrade the battery ground to chassis as well. Doors and entire trunk will be dynomat'd - if I have some left over (2 bulk packs), I'll begin under the rear seat and move forward. I'd like to save the spare, but it looks like I'll have to use that to rack the amps - I'd like to keep as clean a look as possible.

Haven't decided if I should use a 450/4 or two 300/2 amps to power the front/rear speakers. Less power for 2 channels is a decent design for the 450/4 (send less power to the rears), but if I use the 300/2, I could combine the Boston Pro crossover and amp crossover to send mo more than 5420kHz to the rear tweeters, and adjust the Boston Pro crossover level -4dB to have the sound stage emphasized in the front. Very flexible to toy with and get a sound I dig. Of course, I could leave the tweeters out too... Amp mounting space is a big concern, but either way, I may not be able to do a respectable install without pulling the spare.

And most DIY threads no longer have pics, or am I not set up right on this end?

I've tirelessly searched through threads for a while, and have gained a ton of knowledge. Some SWEET G's out there.

Thanks for anything you can send my way - I really appreciate all of your help and knowledge on the subject.
