help with audio and dvd install

so i got an 06 g35 after totalling my 03 g35 well the new one i bought(06g35) has the navi and the cd player skips and messes up a lot so idk if this is a problem that is easy to fix or i just need to buy a new one that is exactly the same or should i get a dvd double din one i have no idea how much more money i would spend and work i would be having to do if i was to get a new double din dvd player. with that said for all the people who have replaced their cd player what makes more sense on doing also im not looking to spend a lot of money and wanna keep the steering wheel bottons and navigation if i get a new dvd player. and if anyone know any good ones doesnt matter how much i can always save up if its worth it. ohh yeah and i know i would have to buy the trim to install a double din dvd player.please help me i love my music

That's not the right one for navigation. Contact Phil at Grubb's Infiniti. They're the only place I've found that has been able to get the ones that don't have to be modified to fit with the factory navigation.

Don't waste money on a headunit with navigation. Your smartphone has better navigation for free than the $200-300 you'll pay to get a good headunit with navigation built-in.

Look into the Pioneer X3500BHS and X5500BHS, or if you can find a good new or lightly used one, Pioneer P4400BH, P8400BH or P3400BH. Great non-navigation units.
