OEM Stereo replacement
OEM Stereo replacement
So my CD player stopped working, doesn't play CD's anymore, Thinking about getting an after market car stereo, anyone done this?
mostly to confirm
I would need to purchase a single/double din plate to house the after market radio. something like this for a 2004 G35, but with better reviews
Amazon.com: Metra 99-7604 Single/Double DIN Installation Kit for 2003-2004 Infiniti G35: Car Electronics
looks like I will need and Antenna adapter and wiring harness to connect to the factory antenna and speaker system?
Since the dash will be mostly apart and a few bolts away from removing the upper glove box due to the torn off cover. I should probably fix this also. undecided about used or "newer parts" I'd probably prefer the newer type as not to have the cover peel off again in a few years.
looking for parts suppliers, any recommendations? tia
p.s. I've seen a few videos on how to remove the upper glove box and videos on removing the stereo.
p.p.s didn't even think about the steering wheel controls.....
