Thumbs up Garmin Mechanic

Just got this cool piece of kit from Gamin. It's called the Garmin Mechanic.

https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/shop...prod38354.html

I just got this thing and a new Garmin 2797 LMT, together they are really cool.

It hooks up to your OBDII port and syncs with your ECU. It then sends info to your GPS or Android device via Bluetooth. You can read the sensors:

Name: GarminMechanic_zps5bd0560d.jpg
Views: 265
Size: 52.3 KB

And the Codes from the ECU. You can even reset trouble lights!

It also is a trip and mileage computer!

If you have a compatible device, I highly recommend it.

Sounds like a small taste what you can do with the inexpensive ($5) Torque App for android with an inexpensive (about $25) bluetooth ODB2 adapter.

Yeah, this one does all that and integrates with the GPS which also has weather maps, weather warning maps, traffic maps, will connect with your phone for calls hands free.
