I recently purchased the latest OEM DVD navigation disc for my '04 coupe and went to insert it, only to find out the the current disc will not eject. The current disc works fine but is approximately 3 years old. When I push the eject button, I can see a message on the navigation screen that displays that the disc is not installed, however the disc never actually ejects. If I press the eject button again, you can hear mechanical sounds then the current navigation "Welcome" screen appears.
I attempted to eject the current navigation disc with the screen up and down, but it's the same results.
Any suggestions short of physically dismantling the right side dash and pulling the navigation unit out to get the current disc out?
