I am not too good with wiring :/ sooo what are all of these extra wires and ****? I found a few plugs as well haha. I wanted to take it out to repaint it as it is in terrible condition. ALSO! What would be the best way to cut them so I could reconnect them back later (Need to do that to remove the cover.), a friend will be installing subs for me later on.

actually the last owner planned on doing that, but didn't get to it. (Or did get to it, but took it out and lied to me? Lol..) I see that 3 of the wires that go to the ash tray are for the VOLT METER, and then there are a few just dangling... there's that one USB and some plugs. (I am holding one of them, but there are more back there)? Could those possibly connect to per say an aftermarket head unit? Audio Virgin here.

 

Those RCA type wires in your hands are from an aftermarket install. Im 99% sure they are routed through the car & previous owner didn't want to bother with removing interior panels to remove those wires. As for the other ones they should disconnect somewhere, at least on my 6mt they do. Also those red & blue wires in the last pic with crimpled red/blue connections look to be aftermarket too.
