Stereo

Good night,

I have an '05 X. I wanted to install a new stereo for the dash. I dont have a navigation system and I didnt want to remove the stock radio. Do you have a suggestion that I could put in the navigation section as a stereo?

Thanks for the help in advance!!

Look at the fourth picture. You can keep the lid in place by mounting the stereo a little lower. Someone else on here did that years ago, but i cant find the thread.

I can't say if the factory radio still works in his install, but you'll at least need to power the factory radio to keep the climate controls functional, since you'll still be working with the combination climate control/factory radio electronics board.
